The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza - You Won't

The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza has announced their new album, Danza IIII: The Alpha - The Omega, will be released October 15th. The band already has a seriously heavy catalog, and show no signs of letting up on their 4th release. They've also premiered a new track, "You Won't," which is embedded above.

-Update:

Sadly, this will be their final release. Apparently, Josh Travis is now a full-time member of Glass Cloud. However, it does seem they're ending on a high note, as the release will also include guest vox from Phil Bozeman of Whitechapel and Alex Erian of Obey the Brave and the now defunct Despised Icon.

Save Us From the Archon - How terrible, the undergrowth's jaws that tangle

How terrible, the undergrowth's jaws that tangle cover art

If you enjoy stuff like CHON and Scale the Summit, you'll probably like Save Us From the Archon almost immediately. The Pittsburgh quintet plays an blend of guitar-driven progressive metal and post-hardcore that is both catchy and technical, without any obnoxious clean vox.

Posted above is a dual play through from the third track of their debut full-length, which can be purchased for only $2 on their bandcamp, or downloaded free here.

Infant Annihilator - Decapitation Fornication

Try as I may, I can't deny Infant Annihilator. First of all, the name just makes me smile, and secondly there's some great riff-salads and brutal grooves. Their debut album is set for release this winter.

Car Bomb - Third Revelation

After 5 long years, Car Bomb has finally revealed a release date for a new album, which (and this has been said before) puts them on the Tool timeline for album releases. The debut single, "Third Revelation," features Joesph Duplantier of Gorjira, and despite the expectation that it might be a complete letdown after such a long wait, it certainly does not disappoint.

According to their website, the album should drop September 25th.

Animal Collective - Today's Supernatural

Call me an indie-hipster poser-twat, but I like the new Animal Collective. If you're not familiar with the project, it's a bunch of grown men who record loops of mouth noises and various beeps and boops. Although, this new track has more of straight-forward rock sound.
